Q. What are type of FSSAI license?
There are 3 types of FSSAI license mentioned below:
FSSAI Basic registration
FSSAI Basic registration is applicable for Small business or Startups with annual turnover below Rs.12 lakhs. The FSSA Basic registration can be upgraded to state license and can be done whenever your sales increase.
FSSAI State license
FSSAI State license is applicable only for mid-sized companies who has annual turnover between Rs.12 lacs to Rs. 20 crores.
FSSAI Central license
FSSAI Central license is applicable for business with annual turnover above Rs.20 crores. It is also required in cases where you need to supply at the government offices or import / export food products.
Q. How can FSSAI license be renewed?
FSSAI license can be renewed 30 days before the expiry of original FSSA license. The company can provide current license number to ca4you. Ca4you will file the Form A and form B and follow up with government and license is renewed in 30-40 days.

The process for getting restaurant license or catering license is similar to the other licenses. All you need to do is fill food license form online and send documents. Within 20-40 working days you will get your FSSAI license status/food license status or food and safety license.
